After high school, Lars joined the military in which he completed his basic military service for nine months with Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards) an infantry regiment belonging to the Danish army. After the completion of his military service Lars decided that this wasn't what he wanted , and began searching for something new. He then decided to study biology. When he was busy with this already a half year, Anette came home from one of her classes and showed him how skilled she was at juggle after three days. Lars was amazed and wanted to learn more. He dropped out of the college to attend juggling classes. He also took classes in fire breathing and juggling. After the completion of high school He traveled throughout Europe with two other friends where he performed in the streets of Paris, Munich, Moscow, Warsaw, and other cities. Two years later he came in contact with a children's circus, where he also was introduced to pantomime, as well as street and children's theater.
