Antonina Shevchenko, an Kyrgyzstani Muaythai fighter from Peru, and mixed martial artist who is fighting for in the UFC at the flyweight division, is currently an Kyrgyzstani. She is older than fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko started her combat sports journey as a Muay Thai Kickboxer and debuted at the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko was the winner of the event and defeated Suzane Miller in the finals by a unanimity. Antonina won a medal of silver in 2007 and she also won a bronze medal in 2008 and a medal gold in the year 2011. Antonina was also named IFMA World Amateur Muay Thailand Champion in 2016 by the IFMA. Antonia was first introduced to the professional world in with her debut in 2003. She won the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championships in 2012 and the Lightweight Lion Fight Championships in 2016 as well as both the WMC World Championships as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina's last fight was at Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. The winner was with a majority. Antonina Shevchenko made her debut in UFC during her debut at the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko was defeated by Roxanne modafferi by split decision following her first fight. Antonina returned to the ring after losing and defeated Lucie Pudddilova on UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission in the second round. The fight was awarded Antonina the prize of Fight of The Night. Shevchenko went 1-2 over the next three fights she lost to Ariane Lipski, and then losing to Katlyn Chookagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina was recently knocked out by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
